HDFC Bank commissions 2 ATMs in Kashmir University
Srinagar, Nov 15: HDFC Bank, the second largest private sector bank in the country, opened two ATMs in University of Kashmir, Srinagar. Amongst the private banks, HDFC Bank currently has the largest network of 43 branches & 115 ATMs in the state.
The ATMs were inaugurated by Dr Talat Ahmed, Vice Chancellor, Kashmir University at a simple but impressive function.
Vice Chancellor, Kashmir University, speaking on the occasion appreciated the growth and expansion plans of the bank and bringing world class services to the doorsteps of the people.
The Vice Chancellor expressed hope that bank will generate more employment avenues for local educated youth and become a vehicle for economic growth of the state.
While speaking on the occasion, Zubair Iqbal, Vice President, HDFC Bank said, "We are extremely pleased to announce the launch of our new ATMs at such a strategic and vibrant locations within beautiful campus of University of Kashmir.”
