100 kgs polythene seized

Srinagar, Nov 17: Officials of State Pollution Control Board and Police seized about 100 kgs of polythene carry bags in the City on Saturday. The seizure was made from shopkeepers and vendors in Maharaja Bazar, Sarai Bala, Hari Singh High Street. Government has warned of strict action against the use and trade of polythene carry bags which have been banned in the State.
