Judgment contrary to human justice: Hurriyat (M)
GK NEWS NETWORK
Srinagar, Nov 17: Hurriyat Conference (M) has said the recent court judgment on Muslim League chief Dr Qasim Faktoo was contrary to the basic principles of human justice.
“The court decision on the petition is one sided and in tandem with Government’s stand on this particular case,” a Hurriyat spokesman said.
“When the courts are confronted with cases like Dr Faktoo, it seems they remain satisfied with the Government views and opinions. Instead of providing justice, the courts give more importance to the political influence and stick to Government view while pronouncing the judgments,” he said.
Meanwhile Hurriyat (M) chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has expressed sorrow and offered condolences over the demise of Zaffar Ahmad Bukhari, son of noted religious figure late Muhammad Qasim Shah Bukhari.
