Protests in Sonamarg against poor power
Srinagar: The residents of Sonamarg have been staging roadside protests against the poor power supply in the area.
A delegation of the protesters said the government was supplying power in the area only during annual Yatra.
“For the rest of the year, our remains a forgotten land,” the protesters said.
They appealed Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to get the supply improved adding that “or else we will intensify the protests.”
