‘WHEN WILL WE GET BACK MONEY FROM HAJEEJ’
Duped aspiring Hajjis hold protests
Srinagar, Nov 1: Scores of duped prospective Hajjis for 2012 from the Valley on Thursday staged massive protests against the government for failing to recover their money.
“We were duped by the Hajeej Private limited at the eleventh hour last year, since then were running from pillar to post in order to seek justice,” a group of duped Hajj aspirants said.
“They ( Hajeej people) had made a commitment that they will return the money of prospective Hajjis for 2012 or will take them for the pilgrimage , but this year we have been once again duped by them. We fail to understand why government has failed to arrest them for not keeping their word,” they alleged.
