Don't stop

This is in response to the article by Abid Malik (GK 6th November). The author  has raised very sensitive issue regarding the insensitivity of the health authorities to the growing healthcare needs of the people of the state in general and  valley in particular. It is very surprising to know that the doctors of the department are prevented from refreshing their patient care skills. The department should not only permit but sponsor a fixed percentage of its doctors every year for specializations and super-specializations to meet the growing health care needs of the State. It very  painful for the people of the state to see this brain drain happening as a result of the indifferent attitude of the health authorities.
