Gas distribution

This refers to the news report “Cops to supervise Gas distribution” (G.K November, 22).  This is a bad move on the part of the Government as it will go against the fair distribution of cooking gas and will help in promoting black-marketing as police forces will use their authority. Such step will only add to the problems of the consumers who are already suffering badly owing to the cap put by the Central Government on the issuance of LPG cylinders.
