TeH condemns activist’s arrest
Srinagar: Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Jammu Kashmir Thursday strongly condemned, what it termed, as unjustified arrest of its member Sajjad Ahmad Khan by the police on Wednesday morning from Mohalla Jamia , Old Town, Baramulla.
“Sajjad is a shopkeeper and was earlier booked twice under PSA on false charges. He was released on both the times after Court quashed his detention orders under PSA,” said the Tehreek spokesman Dr Ghulam Muhammad Ganai in a statement on Thursday.
Dr Ganai also alleged that the police was frequently raiding the residence of its member Ghulam Muhammad Sheikh of Payeen Shangus, Islamabad (Anantnag).
