Kunjwani Chowk to be named after Rajiv Gandhi
Jammu, Nov 2: Deputy Chief Minister Tara Chand along with Minister of Revenue, Relief and Rehabilitation Raman Bhalla today toured different parts of the city and took stock of various works undertaken by Jammu Municipal Corporation.
While inspecting progress at Sunjwan BSUP project, the ministers showed dissatisfaction at the construction site and directed the concerned officers to speed up the pace of work so that the project gets completed within the its time frame.
Underscoring the need to complete various undergoing development works, the Deputy Chief Minister called upon the authorities to ensure time line completion of the works besides using quality standards during execution.
“Redouble your working schedules and put up extra efforts to complete the project well within the stipulated time frame”, he directed the executing agency.
On the occasion it was decided to rename Kunjwani Chowk after Rajiv Gandhi.
