Tough paper

This refers to the news regarding the mathematics paper for the 12th standard exams held on October 30. It is easy for the experts to say that the paper was set according to the syllabus, but an average student could hardly attempt pass marks. Most of the questions were from miscellaneous exercises which is very difficult. Not only B and C series but A series paper was also difficult. Most of the students, who had worked hard throughout the year, wept and some fell unconscious in their respective exam centres after seeing the question paper. This is the reason why we lag behind and cannot compete with the students outside our state in other competitive exams.
