Zaffar for release of detainees
Srinagar: The chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Salvation Movement Zafar Akbar Bhat today demanded to release all the detainees languishing in different jails in and outside the Valley.
Addressing a Friday prayer meeting at Lajora in Pulwama District of south Kashmir, Zaffar stressed the need for establishing the Bait-ul-Mal at local level so that the people in need could be assisted. He expressed anguish over the blasphemous material uploaded in Kishtiwar and Doda by some miscreants. He demanded stern action against the miscreants.
Zafar paid rich tributes to the noted Muslim scholar Maryam Jameela. “She was a noted writer and a torch bearer for all the Muslims especially for the people living in West,” he said.
