Srinagar, Nov 3: A group of seven artists of Srinagar-based Funtoosh Group have made it to the semi finals of popular reality show India’s Got Talent aired by Colors TV.

The mimic group is being supervised and choreographed by four member team comprising –Rayees Mohi Ud Din, Shehla Arif, Sibath Qureshi and Abrar Ali who run the Time Code Productions, an event management firm in the City.
Sibath and others gave their first big hit on the stage during their first Funtoosh show held a few years back. “Since then their was no looking back and many new faces joined us,” said a group member adding that making it to the Colors TV show was not a cakewalk but had to face tough competition.
Observers said the troupe has a chance to win if people from Kashmir make use of voting lines to support them.
“Regionalism often plays a key role in programs where fate of contestants is decided by the voting, same holds true for this event. If viewers of Kashmir vote, the team can win,” said a Kashmir University professor.
