Girl commits suicide in Baramulla
Srinagar: A 19-year old girl (name with held) resident of Ganipora, Baramulla, ended her life by consuming poisonous substance.
In a statement a police spokesman said the girl was found in unconscious condition in a park near Tangmarg stadium. “She was shifted to sub district Hospital, Tangmarg by some locals. Apparently the girl has consumed some poisonous substance and was referred to SKIMS, Soura, Srinagar, where doctors declared her brought dead. A case has been registered in this regard,” police said.
Meanwhile, police said another girl of Sursuna, Kulgam attempted suicide. “The girl (name withheld) consumed some poisonous substance at her home and was shifted to Sub District Hospital, Yaripora for treatment, where from referred to SMHS, Srinagar for further treatment,” police said.
