Godrej makes campus recruitments at KU Business School

Srinagar, Nov 3: A team of Godrej Industries, Mumbai made campus recruitments at the Business School, University of Kashmir on Friday.
The company’s recruitment team comprising Cavas Dumaisia, Vice President, Marketing, Reena Lakra, Deputy General Manager, Recruitment and Purnima Naik, Associate Chief Manager, Recruitment, conducted on the spot interviews of the candidates.
The inaugural session of the campus recruitment was chaired by Registrar of the Kashmir University, Prof. Zaffer Ahmed Reshi who while welcoming the dignitaries from Godrej Group said “Academia being the main generator of knowledge and manpower need to work in tandem with the industry and emphasize on aligning higher and technical education and research with the current and future requirements of industries.”
Prof Zaffer Ahmad further said, “KU is committed to delivering quality education by focusing on all fronts including clean efficient administration, quality research, and participative management in governance.”
While speaking on the occasion Prof. Shabir A Bhat, Dean and Director said that it just the beginning and he is expecting many more top companies to come for the campus recruitment.
He further said, “ Rapid and sustained growth of Indian industry has resulted in demand for higher order soft and technical skills and students need to equip themselves with everything that is required to be successful in a competitive business environment.”
He thanked JN Godrej Chairman, Godrej Industries for taking this initiative and recruiting from the campus of The Business School.
On the occasion Cavas Dumaisia, Vice President, Marketing Godrej said that Godrej is a highly respected and trusted business group of India and “our standards of recruitment are very high.”
At the completion of the process four students were selected for various positions in Godrej Group.
