PGs present research papers at GMC

Srinagar, Nov 3: The 2-day ‘Postgraduate Thesis Presentation’ programme Saturday concluded at Government Medical College (GMC) Srinagar with at-least 80 research papers presented by the post graduate students of various departments.
 “The event is second edition of the annual event started in GMC last year to boost academic and research activities in the college,” the event chairman Prof Kaiser Ahmad said at the program organized by Academic Sub-Committee GMC.
 The conference was attended by the students and faculty members of around 15 Departments including Departments of Anesthesia, ENT, Dermatology, and Ophthalmology.
 Besides, others Vice-Chairman Dr Manzoor Ahmad Halwai, Secretary Dr Altaf Ahmad Kawoosa and Joint Secretary Dr Omer Sharief Kirmani were also present to coordinate the event.
 On the conclusion, Dean and Principal GMC Prof Rafi Pampori gave away the prizes for first three presentations.
