Jamaat-e-Islami castigates administration
Srinagar, Nov 4: Jamaat-e-Islami Jammu and Kashmir has strongly condemned desecration of a masjid by some unscrupulous elements in Bachroo Qaziabad Handwara and demanded an immediate identification of the accused and stern action against them.
In a statement spokesperson Jamaat-e-Islami J&K Advocate Zahid Ali accused the administration of “playing a mute role towards these sensitive issues.” “Jamaat-e-Islami J&K while strongly condemning the irresponsible role of the administration towards the sensitive public issues, cautions the public to remain vigilant against these forces who are bent upon to create a wedge amongst the Muslim Ummah here and thereby achieve their sinister designs. We should never allow anyone to cause any damage to our unity as the unity is an effective weapon to defeat the designs of the enemy,” the statement said.
