Burglars strike Soura again
SYED IMRAN ALI HAMDANI
Srinagar, Nov 4: In yet another theft incident in Soura area burglars this time sneaked into Monarch Computers, a shop at Buchpora selling computer gadgets and cell phones, and decamped with the valuables.
The owner of the shop Azad Ahmad Dar told Greater Kashmir that “the burglars decamped with electronic goods worth Rs 2.5 lakhs including laptops, iphones, Nokia phones and computer accessories on the intervening night of Thursday and Friday.” “We found front shutter broken,” he said.
Police has filed a case. Meanwhile the traders of the marketplace have appealed the SP Hazratbal, Abdul Qayoom to personally look into the matter.
Pertinently burglaries have been on rise in the area while the police failed to crack the cases.
