2 die, 2 killed in road mishaps
Srinagar, Nov 5: Two persons died while two others were injured in different road accidents in Kashmir Valley.
Police said a 14 year old boy Shaheen Ahmed Kakroo son of Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din of Baripora fell from a Tata Mobile (JK05C/5724) while on way from Uri to Bijhama at Baripora Baramulla, resulting in his spot death. A case has been registered.
“A Truck (JK03/8205) hit and injured a lady Raja Banu, 50, wife of Muhammad Lateef Shah of Qaimoh at Qaimoh, Kulgam, resulting in injuries to the lady. The lady was shifted to the hospital but succumbed to her injuries on her way to District Hospital Anantnag. A case has been registered.”Police said a load carrier (JK05/9054) rammed into an Indica vehicle (JK04A/3772) which was parked in Industrial Estate New Light Colony, Sopore. The Indica Car was damaged and its driver Tanveer Ahmad Bhat son of Farooq Ahmed resident of Badam Bagh, Sopore was injured in the accident. The injured was shifted to hospital.
“An Auto Load Carrier (JK04B/5457) hit and injured a 2 year old child Atif Maqbool son of Muhammad Maqbool Dar of Nowhard Charar-e-Sharief at Nowhard, Budgam. The injured was shifted to Charar-e-Sharief hospital for treatment. A case has been registered,” police said.
