Governor’s Sectt reopens in Jammu
Jammu, Nov 5: The Governor’s Secretariat in Raj Bhavan, reopened here today. The Secretariat had closed on 26th October 2012 evening at Srinagar, an official spokesman said.
Governor, N N Vohra, went around the various wings of the Raj Bhavan Secretariat and asked all the officers and staff to maintain cleanliness, proper record keeping, prompt disposal of all references and satisfactory maintenance of the entire Raj Bhavan estate. He also instructed the officers in charge of Horticulture and Floriculture to maintain attractive lawns and gardens.
The Governor inspected the Solar Power Plant installed at Raj Bhavan and directed that immediate steps should be taken for securing its efficient functioning.
The Governor also inspected the CRPF and J&K Police Camps and the gardens.
Navin K. Choudhary, Principal Secretary to the Governor and other officials accompanied the Governor during his visits to the offices, gardens, CRPF Camp and other parts of the estate.
