Mobile Lok Adalat commences in Budgam
Budgam: A weeklong mobile Lok Adalat was kick-started in Budgam district here on Monday.
The Lok Adalat started from Khansahib and was headed by CJM Budgam Gowher Majeed Dalaal and Munsiff/JMIC Budgam Fauzia Paul.
On the occasion 10 cases were taken up for hearing out of which eight cases were settled on spot.
Some fine was also realized and the cases were settled at pre- litigation stage.
Among others who helped in settlement of cases included SHO Khansahib, SDM Khansahib, Assistance Commissioner Revenue and Tehsildar Khansahib besides lawyers of district Budgam. The Lok Adalat will conclude on November 11.
