Farm Machinery Mela held at Ganderbal

Ganderbal, Nov 6: To develop farm sector on the latest scientific lines and to increase production by latest research and modern mechanization, Department of Agriculture organized a Farm Machinery Mela at Ganderbal.
The Mela was inaugurated by District Development Commissioner Ganderbal Showkat Ahmed Mir at Ganderbal.
Interacting with the farmers, he said that government is taking every step to revive the agriculture sector by providing every facility and incentive to the farmers at their doorsteps.
He stressed upon the farmers to adopt the latest technology to boast the agriculture production along with income generating schemes like bee keeping, Mushroom, Vegetable, flower cultivation, Sheep husbandry and poultry farming.
He advised the farmers to come forward and assist the Department for successful implementation of farm friendly schemes which will help them to boast their economic status.
