Ganderbal PYKKA competitions held
Srinagar, Nov 6: The Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) Ganderbal PYKKA were held at GMS,Batwina.
In the event, 15 Panchayats of block Wakura of District Ganderbal participated .The competitions were held in five disciplines of football, volleyball, handball, kho-kho and athletics.
In football, Panchayat Dab emerged as winner while as Panchayat Batwina were runner-ups. In Volleyball, Panchayat Kurhama was winner while as Panchayat Yongoora-B were runner-up. In handball, Panchayat Dab was winner while as Panchayat Safapora-C were runner-up. In Kho-Kho, Panchayat Batwina were winner while as Panchayat Kurhama were runner-ups.
Besides District Youth Services & Sports Officer,Ganderbal & heads of various schools , certificate distribution function was attended by elected representatives of various Panchayats of block Wakura.
