Srinagar, Nov 7: Begum Farkhanda, wife of Ghulam Hassan Bakshi of the prominent Bakshi family passed away in New Delhi on Wednesday after a brief illness. She was sister-in-law of MY Bakshi, late Qayoom Bakshi and Nazir Ahmed Bakshi.
Family sources said her mortal remains will be airlifted to Srinagar on Thursday while the Nima-e-Jinazah will be offered at the Bakshi Manzil Sonawar at 3:00 PM.
The deceased was mother of Maozum Bakshi, Joint Secretary General Kashmir Chamber of Industries Kashmir. The demise has been widely mourned.
