165 posts created for unbundling PDD
Srinagar, Oct 10: The cabinet which met here under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah accorded sanction to the creation of 165 posts in different categories in Jammu and Kashmir Power Development Department.
A special post of Engineer-in-Chief was also created among the 165 posts.
The 165 posts in different categories have been created by corresponding reduction of 67 posts including 10 posts of Assistant Executive Engineers (Electrical), and 57 posts of Junior Engineers (Electrical) for restructuring and unbundling of PDD.
With this arrangement, the sanctioned strength of the posts of Chief Engineers has increased from seven to eight, Superintendent Engineers from 21 to 43 and of Executive Engineers from 86 to 119.
The cabinet also approved transfer and posting of following officers. Deputy Commissioner Kargil, M Raju (IAS) has been asked to report to General Administrative Department for his further posting.
Dilshad Khan, (KAS) has been transferred and posted as Member J&K Service Selection Board.
Chief Executive Officer JAKEGA Fida Hussain (KAS) has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner Kargil.
