HC suspends SO for negligence
Jammu, Oct 20: Registrar General of High Court Suresh Kumar Sharma has placed section officer (Administration) Bashir Ahmed Mir under suspension for alleged dereliction of duty and negligence.
As per the order, issued by the Registrar General the SO was suspended as he failed to get at least three writ petitions listed for several years despite directions from a Division Bench of the Court.
“Bashir Ahmed of High Court Srinagar Wing is placed under suspension with immediate effect. He shall remain attached with the Registrar Judicial High Court Srinagar Wing”, the order reads adding that a regular enquiry shall be conducted in the matter by Registrar Vigilance J&K High Court.
