Fresh talent
There is hope even at a time when people are struggling against unemployment, dilapidated roads and ordinary schools. Somewhere in the same villages marvellous things are quietly happening. A student from Awantipora’s small village is excelling in innovative field. Another youth from Jablipora village has developed an excellent technique to invent electronic brush for painting. A young boy from Shopian area, who has been outside the state for three years in the stifling heat, leaving behind his poor parents, qualified IIT with a better ranking this year. It was Mir Wajid, an austere but outstanding boy from a remote village in Kokernag area who topped the last CET conducted by BOPEE. These boys are making us proud.
