Pulwama, Oct 23: Maruti Suzuki dealership, Peaks Auto unveiled its best seller Alto in an all new form ‘Alto 800’ here today.
The vehicle was unveiled by Javid Ahmad Bhat, Cluster Head & AVP of J&K Bank, Shopian in presence of Jarnail Singh-ED Peaks, M. Anwar Khan- Administrator-Peaks Auto, branch heads and advance managers and other officials.
At the launch, Javid said the elegant features, mileage of 22.7 kmpl and attractive pricing will help this vehicle to become a big hit in the market.
The airbags in an entry level vehicle is an additional safety features which can afford by the entry level customers and the features gives a feel of luxurious high end vehicle.
J&K Bank is open to provide financial services to its customers at any point in time, Javid said.
Alto has been the best seller in the market and the fuel efficiency of 22.74 in the new version will prove a great hit in the market.
Major factors that have helped increase the fuel efficiency are increased compression ratio and improved volumetric efficiency.
Alto 800 comes with a characteristic Wavefront design that goes perfectly with an entry level car that enjoys wide appeal.
The elegant and smooth long curves and the prominent wheel arches add volume to the side stance.
With enhanced head room, shoulder room and utility space the New Alto 800 comes across as a roomier model. Ingress and egress is easier.
In addition, with the scooped out back of the front seat, the rear leg room is enhanced by over 15 mm. A refined engine that delivers a torque of 69Nm @ 3500 rpm, improved by 11 per cent, will prove valuable for city driving that requires better pick-up and frequent gear changes.
