Traders seek speedy probe in Lal Chowk shop theft

Srinagar, Oct 24: Around a week on police is clueless into burglary at New Kashmir Art Bazar, a shop at Lal Chowk while the traders have sought a quick probe into the matter.
The burglars had struck the shop selling items like Shawls, Sarees, Jewellery and Fur on the intervening night of Thursday and Friday, last week.
Abdul Hamid Allaqaband, the shop owner told Greater Kashmir that “the burglars decamped with valuables worth Rs 13 to Rs 15 lacs including Pashmina Shawls, Fur, Crap Sarees, and Suits.”
When contacted SHO Maisuma Asif Iqbal told Greater Kashmir a case has been registered in this regard and investigations are on.
Meanwhile the traders appealed the concerned SP to personally look into the matter.
