Trade union leaders call on Fin Min
Srinagar, Oct 25: A delegation of senior trade union leaders on Thursday met Finance Minister Abdul Rahim Rather and discussed with him the issues related to “pay anomalies” in the department.
A statement issued by the delegation led by Haji Nazir and Syed Mushtaq Qadri said the Finance Minister after listening to them assured that their genuine demands would be looked into by the ministry.
A memorandum was presented to the minister by trade union leader Syed Mushtaq Qadri in which grievances of CAPD employees have been mentioned and it has been urged that pay structure of the staff be enhanced.
The statement said the delegation members included Aijaz Ahmad, Javaid, Shahnawaz and Khursheed Ahmad Dar.
