Police arrest burglars

Sopore, Oct 26: Police on Friday said that it arrested four burglars in this north Kashmir town.
Station House Officer Manzoor Ahmad told Greater Kashmir that the arrested persons were drug addicts and were involved in many burglaries reported in the town during the past 2 months.
President Traders Federation Sopore Haji Muhammad Ashraf Ganai said, “One of the burglars was nabbed by the shopkeepers here. He was handed over to the police. We appeal the authorities to arrest other culprits also so that people can heave a sigh of relief.”
Locals said that burglars were breaking into their houses. “Not only do they loot shops but they break into the shops and take away everything that comes their way,” they added.
