4 die, 11 injured in road accidents
Srinagar, Oct 27: Four persons died and eleven others were injured in different road accidents across the Kashmir Valley.
A Winger bearing registration number JK13B/4409 on way from Srinagar to Jammu fell down near Jawahar Tunnel on Srinagar-Jammu highway resulting in injuries to twelve persons including driver of the Winger Driver Muhammad Maqbool Bhat, Ashok Mehta of Mumbai, Susheel Kumar of IRP 18 Bn of Fliberhmna Rajouri, Ranjeet Singh of Amritsar Punjab, Venayjah of Najlehi, Padi Narayan of Andra Predesh, Jatinder Singh of Gawaliyar, Rohit Kamojia of Delhi, Sheera Singh of Ajeet of Raja Senei Amritsar, Balmar Gundi of Tamil Nadu, Bopinder Singh of Airport Raja Sensi Amritsar Punjab and Jagmohan Lal of Sangalpora Gurdaspora Punjab.
All the injured were shifted to Sub Dist Hospital Qazigund where Balmar Gundi of Tamil Nadu, Bopinder Singh of Airport Raja Sensi Amritsar Punjab and Jagmohan Lal of Sangalpora Gurdaspora Punjab were declared brought dead.
Bodies of deceased are lying in Sub District Hospital Qazigund for further formalities and disposal.
In another accident, a vehicle (No. JK02AQ/6457) hit a labourer of HCC Ashok Kumar of Gari Ramban at Dam Site, KGHEP Mala bridge, Bandipora, jurisdiction of police station Guraz, resulting in his on spot death. A case has been registered in this regard.
