Sad demise

This refers to the sad demise of noted Islamic Scholar Syed Sharieef-Ud-Din Bukhari of Kreeri who died in a tragic accident in Drogmulla, Kupwara on October 24. An Islamic scholar and a poet, Bukhari was a well known figure in the area. After retiring from Health department few years back, he started leading the prayers at Jamia Masjid, and also on Eid. Bukhari was a man of high moral character and a compassionate human being. His untimely departure has created a void in our life. He will always be remembered for his Islamic preaching and service to the humanity. May Almighty Allah grant him an elevated place in Jannat-ul-Firdous. (Aameen)
