Modern Post Office at Pattan

Srinagar, Oct 30: As a part of Post Office transformation plan in Jammu and Kashmir, a modern Post Office was today dedicated to the public by John Samuel, Chief Postmaster General, Jammu & Kashmir Circle at Pattan.
 The post office will function from 9 am to 5 pm and will provide all facilities like Registered Post, Speed Post, Savings Bank, Insurance facilities. Speaking on the demand of local people, John Samuel said that facility of Gold Coin will also be started at the Post Office.
 He said that three more Post Offices namely Gurez, Tangdhar, Trehgam will be modernized over next few months and a new Post Office will be opened at Nowpora, Uri. PIB
