Man dies, 5 injured in accidents

Srinagar: One person died while five others were injured in separate road accidents across the Valley, Police said on Monday. 
 A police spokesman said a Santro car (bearing chasis number No. CH-9593) fell into a deep gorge near Bajri Nalla Zojila on Srinagar-Leh highway resulting in injuries to three persons. The injured were shifted to Sub District Hospital, Kangan, where one of the injured, Muhammad Ismail of Jagsan, Drass succumbed to his injuries.
 Meanwhile, a truck (No. JK013/5231) and a Scorpio (Chasis No. 51D64) overturned near Unisoo in north Kashmir’s Handwara area. In the accident three persons sustained injuries. The injured were shifted to District Hospital, Handwara for treatment.
