7 arrested for duping job aspirants

Jammu, Sep 13: Crime Branch Jammu has arrested at least seven persons, who were found involved in duping people on the assurances that they will be adjusted in government job.
 The accused persons have been identified as Daleep Dhar son of Ravinder Dhar of Udhampur, Jagtar Singh alias Bittu Denter resident of Housing Colony Udhampur, Bilal Ahmed Handoo alias Doctor Sahib son of Abdul Karim Handoo resident of Bemina, Firdous Colony, Srinagar, Muhammad Rafiq resident of Airport Road, Srinagar, Asif Jeelani son of Khizar Muhammad Sub-Contractor Railway Supplier, Srinagar, Syed Maqbool Hussain son of Rasool Shah, Al-Masmuin Yateem Trust, Srinagar and Syed Feroz Hussain son of Syed Murtaza resident of Sonapah, Beerwah Budgam.
 All the accused persons were arrested for criminal conspiracy and fraud after written complaint was lodged against them.
 An official spokesman said that a local resident, Manohar Singh Jamwal son of Late Trilok Singh Jamwal, lodged a complaint alleging that he was cheated by the accused who promised to provide government job to his son in lieu of money.
 “Daleep Dhar assured to provide government jobs in lieu of Rs. 4 Lakhs and payment was made to him in presence of other accused”, the complainant alleged.
 He said that Muhammad Rafiq and Bilal Ahmed Handoo even introduced themselves as members of Railway Recruitment Board.
