Shinde likely to meet Malik in Maldives

New Delhi, Sep 17: Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde is likely to hold a bilateral meeting with his Pakistani counterpart Rehman Malik in Maldives on the sidelines of a SAARC conference next week.
In his first direct engagement with Malik, Shinde is expected to ask him to bring to justice soon those involved in 26/11 attack, check infiltration into India and to dismantle militancy-related infrastructure across the border, official sources said today.
Circulation of fake Indian currency notes, unprovoked firing by Pakistan border guarding personnel along international border and a host of other issues bilateral issues are also likely to be discussed during the talks on the sidelines of SAARC Home/Interior Ministers conference to be held in Male from September 24 to 26, the sources said.
