Live grenades trigger panic in Bandipora

SUHAIL AJMAL

Bandipora, Sep 19: Detection of two live grenades triggered panic here on Wednesday, with people running for cover in the Main Market, where the explosive material was recovered.
According to police sources, the grenades were detected by CRPF personnel who were on a routine deployment in the Market.
The spot where grenades were found guarded by forces round the clock and the movement of each person passing is monitored.
As the news about live grenades spread, the shopkeepers downed their shutters while people started running for cover.
Police however later took the grenades under their possession.
