Sarpanch shot dead

Baramulla, Sep 23: Unidentified gunmen shot dead a deputy Sarpanch in this north Kashmir district on Sunday evening.
Police said the gunmen barged into the house of the deputy Sarpanch Muhammad Shafi Teli, 40, this evening and resorted to indiscriminate firing leaving Teli in a pool of blood. He was rushed to Srinagar where he succumbed to his injuries.
