270 Hajj pilgrims leave for Madina
Srinagar, Sep 24: The 8th batch of 270 Hajj pilgrims comprising 143 male and 127 female pilgrims left for Madina Munawara this morning, an official spokesman said.
He said including the Hajj pilgrims of the 8th batch, 2160 Hajj pilgrims comprising 1269 male and 891 female besides one infant pilgrim have left for Madina from Srinagar International Airport till date.
On the occasion, he said, officers from State Hajj Committee and Airport Authority were present to see off the pilgrims.
