‘Chaos I witnessed at B&J Hospital Barzulla as a patient’
THE administration of B&J Hospital Barzulla is in a deep slumber as can be seen in the hospital. The patients even the accidental cases are being asked to go from door-to-door to seek treatment and justice, alike and are very often compelled to get necessary X-rays done from outside.
The other day, to be precise on August 23, I met with an accident in the Lal Chowk area as a underage biker hit me by riding on wrong side when I was riding pillion to another biker.
After reaching the B&J Hospital at around 2:00 PM, I was asked to move from OPD to Emergency so many times for checkup. And like dozens of other patients and was told that the Emergency will be available for treatment only after 4 PM.
After a great struggle I was asked by a doctor to get X ray done. But after depositing Rs 40 as X-Ray fee nobody was available in the OPD X-ray section upto 13:30 PM and I was forced to get X ray done from outside as my condition was very critical . Same was the case with other patients and it is worth to mention that if a patient may not have money with him he has to die as the hospital administration is in a deep sleep.
Even after telephonic consultation with hospital officials no fruitful results could be found. Though I managed my treatment and am for now able to pitch my plight, what must be happening to hundreds of others who are rushed to this hospital almost everyday?
