Legislature session from Oct 1

Srinagar, Sep 2: The Governor, N N Vohra, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him under section 53 of the Constitution of Jammu and Kashmir, has summoned the Jammu and Kashmir Legislature to commence session on 1st October, 2012.
 The Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly and the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Council shall meet at Srinagar on Monday, the 1st October, 2012 at 10.00 am and at 10.30 am respectively, an official handout said.
 The session is likely to be a short one, it said.
 Since the seat of the government will be shifting to Jammu in the last week of October, the session is likely to last 10 to 15 days.
