“At the meeting, President Zardari reiterated Pakistan's principled stance to continue extending political, moral and diplomatic support to the people of Kashmir who have rendered countless sacrifices for upholding their dignity and freedom, equity and justice and the fulfillment of the promise for effective exercise of their right to self-determination as envisaged in the relevant UN resolutions,” said a spokesman of the Hurriyat in  a statement today.
The spokesman said “President of Pakistan reiterated his call to the international community to focus its attention on the plight of Kashmiri people, who have been waging a legitimate struggle for their right to self-determination over the past six decades despite sufferings huge losses and human rights violations. He fully endorsed the view that without the participation of the Kashmiri leadership in the dialogue process, India and Pakistan cannot address the Kashmir problem.”
