Nasir tee-off Yatra.com golf tournament

Srinagar, Sep 29: Minister of State for Tourism, Nasir Aslam Wani today tee-off Yara.com invitational Golf Cup Tournament at Royal Spring Golf Course (RSGC) Saturday morning.
 About 54 golfers across the country are participating in two days tournament. The Golfers of J&K State are also participating in the tournament.
 Speaking on the occasion, Nasir said that organizing of frequent golf tournaments in the State has helped the tourism department for boosting the tourism industry across the globe. He said every step is being taken to improve the facilities for the golfers.
 The Minister said that government has initiated several measures during last couple of years to encourage not only golfers but other sports lovers of the State as well as from other States and nations of the globe. “Appreciation has always been coming from various quarters in respect of facilities being extended to sports persons across the country”, the Minister added.
