Protect environment
Kashmir valley is famous for its natural beauty but unfortunately its environment is seriously being damaged by the combined onslaught of violence, pollution, global warming and habitat destruction due to human encroachment, unplanned tourism and deforestation. Tourists come to Kashmir and visit Gulmarg, Pahalgam, Sonamarg and other tourist spots. Even educated people throw empty plastic mineral water, cold drink bottles and plastic wrappers along the sides of highways. This plastic gets collected into the rivulets and chokes it. The concerned authorities need to protect our environment for a better and safe future.
