Sagar reviews MGNREGA implementation
Srinagar, Sep 7: The Minister for Rural Development, Panchayati Raj, Law Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Ali Muhammad Sagar today asked the officers to speed up implementation of centrally sponsored scheme MGNREGA in the State.
“The officers should ensure total transparency and adherence to norms so that the benefit of this land mark scheme which has resulted in changing socio-economic profile of rural and far flung areas, reaches the genuine beneficiaries,” Sagar said while speaking at a review meeting convened to oversee status of implementation of MGNREGA and other schemes of Rural development Department in the State..
