75 kg Charas powder recovered, 1 held

Srinagar, Sep 8: Police in Islamabad (Anantnag) has arrested a drug peddler and recovered about 75 kilograms of Charas powder from his possession.
 According to police spokesman, the police personnel established a Naka near Tulkhan Bijbehara and during searches recovered about 75 kilograms of Charas powder from Abdul Majeed Dar son of Ghulam Hassan of Tulkhan, Islamabad (Anantnag).
 A case FIR No.279/2012 under section 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered in police station and investigation has been taken up, the spokesman added.
