Sweepers strike continues
Islamabad (Anantnag), Apr 13: Sanitary conditions worsened here as the strike of the Safai Karm Charis entered the fourth day on Saturday.
Locals faced the problem of poor cleanliness and clogged sewers and feared spread of diseases in the town.
The Sweepers of Municipal Council here are on strike for the past four days, seeking release of salary the daily wagers, deposition of General Provident (GP) Fund and release of seven percent arrears.
