Rajouri, Feb 15:  Indian army Friday returned body of a Pakistan ranger who was killed after he “accidentally strayed” into this side of Line of Control in Rajouri sector, last evening.
 The request to Indian Army was made by the office of the Director General of Military Operations-Pakistan, a defence spokesman said.
 The Pakistan Army yesterday admitted that one of its soldiers had inadvertently crossed the LoC in Jammu and Kashmir and contact was being established with Indian authorities for his return. The Pakistani soldier, they claimed, lost his way on Thursday afternoon and inadvertently crossed the LoC. Such incidents had happened on both sides in the past and were sorted out mutually, the Pakistan DGMO officials said.
  “The body of the deceased was handed over to the state Police”, the spokesman said adding, “Today the Pakistan DGMO made an unscheduled call to the Indian DGMO requesting for the soldier’s body to be returned. Acceding to this request, the body was returned to Pakistan Army personnel in the same sector in the evening with military respects.”
