Srinagar, Feb 18: Airtel, leading global telecommunications company, has bagged ‘Brand Leadership Award’ in Telecom Sector for 2012 and ‘Emerging Brand Award’.
The awarded were given to the company at a function of Brand Leadership Awards organized by World Brand Congress and Bloomberg TV in Mumbai on Thursday.
The Brand Leadership Award has come to the company in recognition of its “remarkable progress in establishing itself as one of the strongest brands in the country,” the company said in a statement.
“Since its introduction in September 1995, Airtel has been at the forefront of the telecom revolution. Over the years, the brand has evolved to reflect the changing environment & customer preferences.
