Chief Commissioner Scouts condole Affandi demise
Srinagar, Feb 18: The Chief Commissioner, J&K Scouts & Guides, Khwaja Farooq Renzu Shah has condoled the demise of Ahmad-ullah-Affandi who passed away on Monday.
Affandi, was one among the basic members of the J&K Scouts and Guides and was associated with the Association for more than 70 years.
He was given first JK Scouts Award in 2005-06 during International Scouting function held at SAKIIC Srinagar which was attended by international and national level scouts.
The J&K Scouts and Guides held its condolence meeting under the chairmanship of Chief Commissioner, Khwaja Farooq Renzu Shah in which contribution of Affandi was hailed in the promotion of scouting movement in the State.
In the meeting it was decided to establish a memorial committee in the name of Affandi which will highlight and make new generation aware about the contribution of this personality.
